There are several things that if you have ever worked with Norman you would say : firstly his mathematical expertise was ALMOST flawless. His ability to estimate sizes was amazing. The downside - he was nearly always right. Also he had an opinion on everything, whether you wanted to hear it or not. Also his inability to keep a clean and tidy workspace. People who ventured into Norman's garage would benefit from mountaineering experience ! Norman's mind was always active, and if he wasn't fixing or modifying something then he would be doodling on anything from notepads to the back of envelopes much to Val's annoyance and everything had to be kept, just in case !
