He joined BT in 1962 with the Power Group. He was known as Mr Fix It by his colleagues. He would repair absolutely anything, and often it was not work related. Most of the supplies were unknowingly donated by the stores of BT. People would definetely call Norman hardworking, as long as he had had his compulsory two cups of tea first thing in the morning.
